Fellowships: Overview
Overview

What are Fellowships?

Fellowships are more than just free money to go study in England after senior year. Whatever your goals, there is funding out there to help you achieve them:

  1. Study in the United States -- To partly support your undergraduate education (Sophs and Juniors) or graduate work.
  2. Study Overseas -- Usually to support graduate studies abroad, in just about any country.
  3. Grants for Work and Practical Experience -- To pay for a service project during the summer or for a year of volunteering after college.
  4. Grants for Travel Overseas -- To pay for purposeful travel. You're limited only by what you can think up, and by convincing someone else that what you've planned is interesting.
  5. Grants for Independent Research -- Term time or summer research in a lab, in the field, in the library, etc.
