Rakesh and Stephanie Khurana
A bit of background about us: Rakesh is the Marvin Bower Professor of Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. His background is in organizational sociology and organizational behavior. Most of his research focuses on the institutions and process by which business elites are selected and socialized. Rakesh received his undergraduate degree (B.S.) from Cornell University and his graduate degrees (A.M., PhD) from Harvard University.
Stephanie is co-Founder and Managing Director of Higher Aims, a boutique advisory firm created to allow top-tier, high caliber MBA’s the opportunity to work flexibly with corporate clients and non-profit organizations on strategic and operational initiatives. She also serves on the board of several social enterprises that she’d be delighted to share more about with you. Stephanie also received her undergraduate degree (B.S.) from Cornell and did her graduate work (M.B.A., M.P.P) at Harvard. Stephanie was also the co-founder and CEO of Surebridge, a technology service provider.
Stephanie and Rakesh met at Cornell (she interviewed him for a job!). They came to Harvard together as single graduate students, started dating, and then married after Stephanie finished graduate school. They have three children: Sonia (17), Nalini (15) and Jai (12). As far as interests, Stephanie enjoys running and traveling. Rakesh enjoys running and learning about new fields and subjects.
