Race Relations

We're so excited to be your Race Relations tutors this year -- a role that allows us to facilitate celebration of Cabot's diversity while shining light on pertinent issues related to race and identity, equity and inclusion, and social justice.

In addition to supporting house and quad-wide programming, we work closely with the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations in developing programming on campus with an eye to "improv[ing] relations among racial and ethnic groups within the University and to enhanc[ing] the quality of our common life."

In years past, we've invited HLS professor Randall Kennedy to discuss the Obama presidency, watched The Wire, discussed racial profiling since 9/11, and started Cabot's first Prison Abolition Book Club.

We're always looking forward to hearing more about how you envision race relations in Cabot, so please don't hesitate to reach out to the Race Relations Tutor Team!
