Cabot House is committed to gender justice, reproductive health, and personal empowerment, with a clear standard: every student deserves a safe learning and living environment free from interpersonal harm. CARE (Consent Advocacy and Relationship Education) advances that mission by combining education, peer-centered advocacy, and community care, grounded in equity, justice, and inclusion, to strengthen a culture of respect, consent, and belonging.

In close partnership with the [SHARE Counselors](https://csndr.harvard.edu/share) in the Office for Community Support, Non-Discrimination, Rights and Responsibilities, CARE helps ensure that anyone in Cabot who has experienced or witnessed harm can access support without barriers. We facilitate connections to 24/7 confidential support, trauma-informed counseling, education and support groups, community referrals, and individualized advocacy—so students can find the right resource at the right time.

### CARE Tutor

- [Kimia Heydari](/people/kimia-heydari "Kimia Heydari")

Tutors, including CARE tutors, are "responsible employees" which means they are required to share information about gender-based harassment, relationship violence, and sexual assault or misconduct with the Title IX Resource Coordinator. While that doesn't automatically trigger a Title IX investigation, we recognize that some students would prefer confidential resources.
