Semper Corpse—Oct. 29 (Quad Lawn)

Cabot is hosting a Halloween outdoor extravaganza on Friday, Oct. 29 on the quad lawn, starting at 4 p.m. All Quadlings are welcome to join for food trucks, lawn games, bouncy joust, live performances, face painting and more! Costumes are encouraged. The theater will be hosting a Rocky Horror Picture Show afterwards, starting at 8:30 in the theater. Come on by!

Petting Zoo for Midterms Stress Relief—Oct. 13, 2-4 p.m. (Quad Lawn)

Your Resident Dean, Ken Thomas, knows midterms can be stressful. If you need a study break, you are welcome to come to the quad lawn this Wednesday and pet some baby animals—chicks, ducklings, goats and bunnies will be available for you to enjoy. If it is raining, we will be in the Theater (F-Entry). All are welcome—no RSVP needed. Come on by!

Queer+ Quad Dinner—Oct. 19, 5:00 – 7:00 PM (Faculty Row Courtyard--next to Pfoho)

The Queer+ Tutors at Cabot, Currier, and Pfoho Houses invite you all to our first Queer+ Quad Dinner of the year! Come hang out with other BGLTQ+ Quad peers and allies in this longstanding Quad tradition. Don’t know how to get to the Faculty Row Courtyard? Cabot Faculty-Student Dinner—Oct. 20 (Quad Lawn)

Cabot is hosting a Faculty-Student Dinner on Wednesday, October 20th. We welcome students to invite their favorite faculty, staff, coaches, TF, or proctor to come join us for an outdoor event. We will have a reception from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on the E-Entry patio, followed by dinner on the quad lawn starting at 6 p.m. We will also have fires for roasting marshmallows and s’mores. Because this event is outdoors, we are having a rain date of October 26.

Sustainability Table in Cabot—Tuesday & Thursday, 7-8 p.m. (Dining Hall)

Baking with Cabot Culinaries - Levain Cookies!—Oct 20, 7-8 p.m. (H-101)

All Cabot residents are invited to sign up to bake with Cabot Culinaries in H-101! Take a break from studying and come bake some delicious chocolate chip cookies in the beautiful H-101 kitchen. Individual and group signups welcome - space is limited to 20! Email Adam (the tutor) with any questions.

Cabot Forest Bathing Trip—Oct. 16, 2-4 p.m. (Arnold Arboretum)

October 4, 2021
On Saturday, October 16 from 2-4pm a small group (10-12) of Cabot students will practice forest bathing in the Arnold Arboretum (Jamaica Plain, Boston) with an experienced forest bathing guide. Transportation will be provided. We hope you'll join us! In the event that more than 12 people register, there will be a lottery for spots. Questions? Contact Cresa.
