I am a PhD student in Computer Science focusing on Economics and Computation. I’m from Kenya. Prior to joining Harvard, I worked as a research scientist for IBM in Nairobi for five years. Before that I got a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford and an undergrad in Aero-Astro from MIT. In between undergrad and the masters I worked in the US and France as a software engineer. I love traveling, learning different languages, running by the river (esp. in good weather), and hiking (recently climbed Kilimanjaro!). As a tutor I love getting to know new students, and I look forward to another year of house life and growth. Don’t hesitate to say hello and to talk about anything.
