Hello!

I am a 7th year student in the MD-PhD program at Harvard Medical School and recently finished a PhD in Health Policy. My research focuses on a variety of topics in child mental health services research, including better understanding the benefits and potential harms of inpatient psychiatric and residential care. I have also done a bit of work on how state LGBTQ-related policies affect youth mental health. Recently, I am also particularly interested in the impact of the foster care system on child health and ways that positive health and experiences can be created for youth in care and after transitioning out of care.

Prior to medical school, I worked as a research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital. I attended Harvard College and studied economics and psychology and was not pre-med! I took pre-med classes at Harvard Extension School after graduating.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, hosting tea parties, jogging (not to be confused with running), and watching reality television.

Please feel free to reach out!
