Hiya!!

I’m Walter (he/him), and I’m excited to join the Cabot community as a new tutor! I’m a PhD student in Earth and Planetary Sciences—my research is on the physics of clouds and convection, including the ways we model and observe them. I am Massachusetts born and raised, but I completed my undergraduate degree in applied mathematics at Imperial College London, in the United Kingdom.

I’m a big public transit fan—I’m always eager to learn about new ways to get around! My favorite activity this summer via the T was reading at Revere Beach. I am also passionate about hobby meteorology (ask me about the rain gauge in my photo!). In addition, I’ve been trying to get into crochet and embroidery.
