Luise Mörke

Hi Cabot!

My name is Luise, I’m a PhD candidate in Harvard’s Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies, and live in Briggs Hall. I grew up on Germany's Baltic Sea coast and in Scotland, and studied art history and classical archaeology in Berlin, Paris, and at UC Berkeley before I moved to Cambridge in 2023. I love swimming and surfing in large bodies of water, drawing, dancing, yoga, traveling, music, and ending up in somewhat bizarre places that are fodder for writing. When I'm not overwhelmed by reading for work (it happens), my mind is usually occupied by a novel or two.

At Cabot, I am responsible for Third Space, our amazing in-house art and pottery studio, and am also here for all international students to connect you to resources at Harvard and to each other.
