Hey fish! I’m Manu (she/her) a Cabot alum thrilled to be rejoining the house this year! I’m originally from Medellín, Colombia but have lived in Dallas, Texas with my family since 2013. In undergrad, I studied Social Anthropology with a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights (EMR). After graduating, I completed an MSc in Migration Studies across the pond at Oxford. I’m really passionate about the intersections of migration, health, and human rights and will be working in immigrant healthcare at Boston Health Care for the Homeless before applying to medical school in a couple of years.  In my free time, I love going on hikes with my partner and fellow tutor, Richard; taking trips to East Boston for Colombian food; traveling (talk to me about how to make the most of study abroad opportunities at H!); finding the best matcha places in Boston; and exploring creative hobbies like baking, painting, and crocheting. I am always available to chat over coffee or a meal – please don’t hesitate to reach out!!
