Manuela Arroyave Monsalve
Hey fish!
I’m Manu (she/her), a Cabot alum and third-year tutor! I’m originally from Medellín, Colombia but have lived in Dallas, Texas with my family since high school. In undergrad, I studied Social Anthropology with a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights (EMR). After graduating, I completed an MSc in Migration Studies at Oxford. I’m really passionate about the intersections of immigration, health, and human rights and am currently working in immigrant health care at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP).
In my free time, I love going on hikes in the White Mountains; taking trips to East Boston for Colombian food; traveling (talk to me about how to make the most of study abroad opportunities at H!); finding the best coffee/matcha places in Boston; and exploring creative hobbies like baking, painting, and crocheting. I am always available to chat over coffee or a meal – please don’t hesitate to reach out!!
