Hey y’all! My name is Philip (he/him) and I’m excited to join Cabot and meet everyone this semester! I’m a joint JD/PhD student in statistics here at Harvard. Currently, I am in the second year of the PhD program and plan to start the JD portion in fall 2025. I graduated from UChicago with a BA in history (and a minor in math) in 2020 and also completed a Master’s in Computer Science there in 2021. My prior research experience focused heavily on policing, violence, and police lawsuits in the City of Chicago. I am passionate about American History; the intersection of law, computer science, and statistics; and incorporating evidence based practices to help improve the American legal system.
