H-101 Reservation Procedure

Please check the House Reservation Calendar before submitting a Reservation Form. Reservations can be made up to one month in advance. For example, if it is March 4, you may reserve dates through April 4.

Rules

Reservations

• Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance (or by Wednesday at 3 PM if you’re hosting a party).
• Reservations can’t be made more than one month in advance.
• A swipe Card to H-101 is available for pick-up from the Security Guard's office (A-Entryway) on the day of your reservation AND must be returned the same day.

Parties

• Hosting covert or unregistered parties is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
• A reminder: a “party” is defined as any gathering of 10 or more people after 10:00 PM on Friday or Saturday, regardless of whether alcohol is served.
• Please review the Party Guidelines page and submit a Party Registration Form (as described on that page) by Wednesday at 3:00 PM.

Who Can Reserve?

• Only Cabot House students may reserve H-101.
• The student who made the reservation must be present for the entire event.

When & For How Long?

• The space can be reserved for a maximum of 4 hours per event.
• Each Cabot student may reserve the space one time per calendar month.
• Please do not overstay your reservation, especially after quiet hours (10 PM).
• Each student may reserve one weekend night (Friday–Sunday) per semester.

Noise, Cleanliness, & Courtesy

• Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.
• Leave the space in pristine condition—clean up after yourself, including running the dishwasher if needed. Not doing so may result in a cleaning fine or loss of reservation privileges.
• Do not leave or store food or drinks in the cupboards or refrigerator; anything left behind will be discarded.
• Please do not remove any items (pots/pans, flatware, dishes, boardgames, etc.) from the space.
