Hi Fish! I’m Vanessa (she/her) and my partner, Miguel (he/him), and I are both so excited to be back in Cabot this year! Unfortunately, we did not bring back the Alpaca from our summer trip to Peru.

I was raised in South Florida but my family is originally from Medellín Colombia. If you want to go find the best arepas in Boston or practice your Spanish, I’m your gal.

I graduated from Duke University in 2019, where I studied Public Policy and Education. After undergrad, I went on to work as a diversity & inclusion professional in Dallas, TX before deciding that I wanted to be a lawyer! Currently, I am a 3L at Harvard Law School where I am involved in the first-generation and Latinx student organizations and when I’m not studying or attending an org event, you can usually find me watching Marvel movies or playing IM sports. I am very interested in pursuing a career focused on law and policy, primarily within the space of education/children's rights. Please reach out about any questions you might have about law school, navigating college as a first-gen/low-income student, and life! I might not have all the answers but I am always willing to listen!
